Background

Dr. Mary K. Shields

Dr. Shields earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 2011 and holds a Master of Public Health. She founded Triple Crown Dentistry in Louisville the following year and practises there.

Her forensic work began during dental school under the mentorship of Dr. Mark Bernstein. She assists in the identification of remains and provides legal consultation in Kentucky, and is a member of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences and the American Society of Forensic Odontology.

She is a certified injectables trainer and founded the Louisville Center of Excellence in 2019 to teach other clinicians. She speaks for Glidewell and serves as a Key Opinion Leader for Evolus.
